A presentation at city hall will take place and how to prevent the disease will be discussed by United Nations experts on HIV/AIDS.
Global best practices will be discussed by Djibril Diallo, a senior advisor with UNAIDS, and UNAIDS policy advisor Gregory Smiley, on how to keep HIV/AIDS away and on what kind of methods can be applied on various cities.
In September a trip was made in which Mayor Thomas Masters invited the UNAIDS representatives to Riviera Beach to Senegal.
After the presentation, various questions regarding the presentation will en taken.
Masters said, “We wanted this to be a dialogue.”
Anyone can attend Thursday's HIV/AIDS presentation that will be taking place at the city council’s chambers and will be from 5:30 p. m. to 7:30 p. m.
