Mum survives cancer, delivers healthy baby

Mum survives cancer, delivers healthy babyVictoria Webster, 33 year old, had to make a tough choice when she was told that she had cancer after having a routine blood test while five months of her pregnancy was there. But she decided to hold on and won the battle between life and death.

When she was told that she had cancer, she was also told that she needed chemotherapy and that it would kill her unborn baby. She was told to abort the baby but she made a choice and decided to keep the baby.

She rather went for her blood getting drained every week and her blood was pumped back into her after getting washed in a special machine. But the need was good when she had a perfectly healthy baby girl.

Jessica now completes ten months and Victoria is recovering from her chronic myeloid leukemia after she started with the chemotherapy, however delayed.

She already is a mother to four-year-old Lewis and said, "I was told I needed to make a choice but to me there was no decision to make. I was terrified my treatment would harm Jessica, but she was perfect."
