James Randi offers $1 million for proving homeopathy is genuine

James-RandiFor debunking homeopathic drugs, a bold challenge has been launched by James Randi. Randi has not only asked some manufacturer to prove that homeopathic drugs worked as they claim but has also offered $1 million for anyone who could prove the claims.

It is not easy to figure out experts from medicine and science who can defend these drugs. An introduction that is complete with what homeopathy is, researches related to it and more has been offered by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

The introduction states that there have been many analysis and studies to support the claims made by homeopathy and considering it as an effective treatment to treat a disorder but there have been positive findings about the drugs too.

Steven Barrett, who is a noted skeptic, said, "Homeopathic 'remedies' enjoy a unique status in the health marketplace: They are the only category of quack products legally marketable as drugs."

But this is something that the National Center for Homeopathy will certainly not agree to. There is a difference between ‘homeopathic’ and ‘herbal’ medicines as some people think that medicines that do not have prescriptions are all same.

People are watching whether someone will come up and take Randi’s challenge.
