A warning has been given by the Dubai police Chief Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim over the current unemployment rate. He has said that there has been a sharp increase in the unemployment rate. As per him, UAE it has reached to a dangerous level.

Recently there was a the Human Resource Conference held at the city in which Lt Gen Dahi has said that in UAE, there is a huge expenditure on education, however there is a notable increase in the unemployment rate. It has blown up to 14.4 per cent and represents nearly 43,000 Emiratis.

There was a serious issue regarding the number of unemployed Emiratis. It was expected to increase up to 100,000 in the coming ten years as stated by Lt Gen Dahi. The Ministry of Labour has been requested to initiate strategic plans to develop human resources.

The fresh graduates who are financially weak will be provided social security. Lt Gen Dahi has also said that the role of the Ministry of Labour should be more dynamic and it should give more importance to employ Emiratis and create business opportunities to endow their potential.
