Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani has said that the summit of Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IIPU) in Abu Dhabi has been able to bring some of the major issues related to the Islamic world. He has considered this summit to be an extraordinary event.

The event has managed to bring forward some of the major challenges that the Islamic nations are facing now a days. Larijani has said this to the reporters after the conference on Thursday.

He has also said that the current situation in Palestine, Lebanon, Sudan, Tunisia, Gaza siege were the major topics of the discussion. The delegates in this event have expressed their concern over the destruction of Islamic monuments by Israel in Palestine.

The Iranian official has also pointed out that during the IIPU meeting they had also a discussion over having the right to use peaceful nuclear technology as well.

The participating nations have also decided to support Palestinian nation. They will pressure the Islamic states to take some concrete steps so that the Palestinian nation, including Gaza can get the benefit out of it.
