Dubai was shocked by the story broken by Gulf News wherein a four-year-old Modern High School girl got raped by her bus driver, conductor and another accomplice.

Parents expressed their shock regarding the incident over the Internet. Quite a lot of them opined that GEMS Education, the group that the school is in the possession of, had not given ample priority to the security of its students. The school Principal's statements did not help soothe the fears of the enraged parents.

It has been alleged that the incident took place in early November last year, following a few days of which the victim's mother became suspicious of her daughter's behaviour.

Even the soiled nature of her daughter's clothes aroused suspicion in her, after which she took her child along with the clothes to a gynaecologist. A test conducted consequentially and it confirmed that her four year old daughter had been raped.

After that the victim's family took a flight back to India and filed a report to the Dubai police only as recent as 11th January 11, a couple of months following the incident.

The Prosecution is waiting for forensic reports before the matter can be brought to court for details.
