Abu Dhabi military maintenance unit gets new partner

Lockheed-MartinOn Sunday, the Advanced Military Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Centre (AMMROC) has declared that, Lockheed Martin will control an equity stake in the centre. It will help the firm to fulfill its ambition to become a global leader in military aviation maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) services.

The Texas-based aerospace and technology giant and US peer, Sikorsky Aerospace Services have united with each other. An equal investment in AMMROC has been under its control, and mass holder, Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT).

AMMROC has alleged that there has been a total savings of more than US$800 million. Moreover there has been enlargement in centre's capabilities as balancing its offered service to customers. It has been hoped that extension in Lockheed's includes important knowledge to AMMROC's contributing to both the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces and military operators in the Gulf.

It will be observed in the deal that platform solutions are being offered by AMMROC for all fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. As a result of guaranteed aircraft readiness, organize capability, better security and self dependence.
