As per the media reports, kings, presidents and emirs of Islamic countries have been sent cables of congratulations, on the commencement of Ramadan, by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Apart from wishing the Muslim leaders good health and happiness, Shaikh Khalifa also wished the people more progress and prosperity.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also received similar greetings from Sahikh Khalifa.

The best wishes for Ramadan were also sent to Shaikh Khalifa by General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; along with cables of congratulations from kings, presidents and emirs of Islamic countries, on the advent of Ramadan.

Leaders of Kuwait, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Libya, Eritrea and Lebano also greeted the president on this auspicious occasion. Similar wishes were also received by Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid from many Muslim leaders.
