It has been informed that the Arabian Construction Company of Abu Dhabi has won a contract of Dh750 million. The company has received the order to expand the Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) campus which is situated at Abu Dhabi.

However, the company has also informed that the amount will be provided only for the first phase of the construction work. The second phase of construction will be done by Abu Dhabi developer Aldar Properties.

In the second phase of construction, there will be an additional extension of 82,000 square metres in the campus. This will include the student lodgings, seven open laboratories, a conference centre, a swimming pool and a gym. The company is expecting that the assignment will be completed on time.

It may be completed within 18 months from the start of work. It has also added that after the construction, the campus will get larger by almost 35% of the current size.

This has been one of the major order that the company has received in this financial year.
