Abu Dhabi launches the first desert camps classification system

Abu-Dhabi-Tourism-AuthorityAbu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) has released a latest compulsory classification system; the first in the world, for desert camps, which has become one of UAE's swiftest developing leisure tourism sub-sectors, reportedly.

Earlier, 6X6 km site in the Al Khatem district area in the Emirates, nearby its heritage heartland of Al Ain, will make Abu Dhabi's available desert camps operators the centre, with five extra, dedicated sites in the emirate, all which have been particularly selected by ADTA, supposed to come on the internet for future utilization by fresh operators in the future upcoming months.

The idea of a tailored classification system was thought of following an extensive consultation with industry stakeholders and ADTA's personal Environmental Health and Safety Management System department, which has offered analyzing criteria that will be divided into a couple of categories: day camps and ones providing overnight stays.

The Al Khatem plot can accommodates the facilities of operators in the two categories.

The fresh rules will make sure that tourists have a good experience in Abu Dhabi and all the touch points that are there alongside touch even the transport to the camp, interaction with locals, the quality of the eatables and the activities being offered.
