Leading bank of UAE, The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) has been given the award of being the Best Financial Information website for the whole GCC region. The bank was offered this privilege by a research that was done by an independent company.

Hallvarsson & Halvarsson in its survey had included journalists, analysts and even big investors. The name of the survey was Webranking evaluation 2010 and was based on 140 different criteria. But what was most important was that the website was able to provide preciously the same information and functionality as the market has demanded.

The main idea behind the survey and the rankings is that it wants to assess the performance of each website in comparison to others.

Talking about the same, Michael H. Tomalin, group chief executive of NBAD said that NBAD has always been a supporter of transparency. It is needed since it benefits one and all.

He further added that NBAD was proud to be recognized for its performance and transparency.

Besides this, NBAD has been given the 2009 Best Investors Relations Company Award for UAE and has also won various other awards of the same league.
