The Ministry of Information has announced that it has inked an agreement with Oman Mobile.

As per reports of Times of Oman, the pact has been signed in order to transmit Oman TV programmes via mobile phones.

The ministry has informed that similar agreement will be inked with Omani-Qatari Telecommunications Company Nawras in the coming days in order to render the same service to Nawras subscribers.

The sources informed that the new service enables Oman Mobile 3G subscribers to view Oman TV's two programmes through packages to be offered by Oman Mobile.
