Recently this was informed by Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) that it has conveyed the second 42m Landing Craft to the Royal Bahrain Naval Force. It is a referred to have a high-quality in the construction, military and commercial vessels, repair and refit of naval.
Company revealed that on Tuesday an official ceremony was held to mark the delivery of Al Hamra. It is the last under a four-vessel contract which was won by Abu Dhabi Company in the year 2008.
ADSB held that it had delivered a total of two 16m fast landing craft and two 42m landing craft to the Bahrain navy. These were all built at its dock in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.
This project verified the ship builder's ability so as to build high quality naval ships at reasonable prices in its modern and fully-equipped facilities.
The 16m units can rapidly install personnel and supplies. They can reach speeds of more than 35 knots when traveling light or 25 knots when carrying a payload of 6 tonnes. These units were delivered in overdue 2009.
