High charge for visas

High charge for visasFinancial plan for some extra time and money are required for Canadians travelling to the United Arab Emirates while planning their trips.

Starting Jan. 2, $1,000 for visas will be charged by the Middle Eastern country.

The argument over Canadian landing rights for UAE airlines has brought it in the middle.

A list of 32 countries has been declared that didn't require a visa in which Canada is also present with the U. S., France, Germany and Japan. Before they leave anywhere they must apply for the visa at least three weeks.

$250 fee for a 30-day visa, a $500 fee for a three-month visa, and $1,000 for a visa valid for two weeks at a time over six months will be included in it. It will occur for a 96-hour visa for people of the country transiting through one of the region's busiest centers.

The cost of the visa is half than its original cost for the visas which are set through the UAE's Etihad Airways or Emirates airline bought through the embassy.
