Musaffah Cargo Port reopens for business

Musaffah-port-Abu-DhabiThe Musaffah port, Abu Dhabi has reopened for business and expects to begin soon Dh 1.5 billion channels that open the industrial area to shipping traffic.

Abu Dhabi terminal, the port operator said that this reopening followed a refreshment phase by which the company in refocused on its strategy of the port. This deals with heavy cargo ships including oil and gas equipment, steel and aluminium fabricators.

The 1st cargo ported after the reopening, arrived on Monday by barge from Abu Dhabi’s primary cargo facility named Mina Zayed. The company stated that the Abu Dhabi terminals resumed operation at Musaffah port.

The main supplier for the project 63km 200meter wide channel is the National Marine Dredging Company which is based in Abu Dhabi. This waterway has a 9 meter flow of air. The construction of this project is done with the aim for the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council.

Moreover there is the control over emirate’s zoning tactics and about metropolitan development done by this agency controls.

There are rumors that this project is regarded as one of the several search deals for Abu Dhabi. The Musaffah port is not used as there were some problems related to the ports. It has a 342 meter and 11 meter quay, draught respectively.
