A British newspaper has claimed in its report that for the first time in history, Israel is expected to admit involvement of its spy service, Mossad in the Dubai assassination.

In the incident, Hamas commander Mahmoud Al Mabhouh got killed. The newspaper said that the new head of Mossad, Tamir Pardo, is expected to send an official apology to UK for using British passports in the Dubai assassination.

The killing took place in January and since then Mossad has refused to take responsibility of the same, said Daily Telegraph. The events took up a heated turn when in March UK expelled Daily Telegraph for using British passports during the killing.

At that time Israel refused to accept its responsibility; however, it praised the killing of Al Mabhouh.

The newspaper has said that admission is not going to be done in public and also refused to open the name of its source. Interestingly though, the acceptance has come just ahead of the alleged release of a report by WikiLeaks regarding the involvement of Israel in the murder.

Experts are unsure till now, how this step is going to impact the already rocky relationship between Israel and UK.
