The former Chechen warlord Sulim Yamadayev murderer's punishment of lifetime imprisonment is reduced to three years, by an appeal made in the Dubai court. Earlier they were sentenced to life time imprisonment by lower court in April
Yamadayev was murdered in United Arab Emirates in March 2008 by Iranian Mahdi Lorniya and Maksudjon Ismatov of Tajikistan Yamadayev
Relatives withdrew their case against both so the decision was in the favour of guiltier. A gold-plated of 9mm Stechkin APS was found near the murderer. The gun is unlicensed and thought to be the weapon by which Mr. Yamadayev was killed.
Mr. Yamadayev was shot dead on March 28 2009 in the Jumeirah Beach Residence's basement car park. He was living in Dubai, since January 2009 with his wife and six children.
Dubai police issued arrest warrants against seven suspected killer who were in the conspiracy of murder, which was politically motivated.
Accused were forcefully threatened with torture to confess that they are the killers said by the Lawyers of defendant which was tainted by politics.
Nine men, including former deputy prime minister of Chechnya, a current Russian Member of Parliament, MH, MJ are suspected by the police.
