There is an AED204m ($55.8m) infrastructure contract award given to the Al Jaber Group. It is given for the three phases of the Bawabat Al Sharq master community plan.

The project is situated in Bani Yas City which closes to the Abu Dhabi Airport, next to the Al Ain Road.

It includes premium apartments, villas, health care facilities, an international school, a FIFA standard football stadium with a spaces capacity of above 20,000 spectators.

The project also includes a shopping mall with 339 high profile retail channels, a supermarket, Family Entertainment Centre and film theatres. The Bawabat Al Sharq Mall will also feature Souk Al Megnas which is a unique fixed market covering 4500m2.

All infrastructure works for the project will be carried out by the Al Jaber Group. The works include building all roads, services, electrical net, water network, sewage network, drainage network and landscaping. This work has been started and is expected to be completed in June 2012.

At present in the company there are 450 employees on this project.
