On Wednesday there was a meeting held between General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France. He is the top Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
They had a discussion on conducts so as to enlarge joint cooperation between UAE and France.
Both UAE Foreign Minister and the delegation associated the Crown Prince were present in the summit which was held at the Elysee Palace. They not only discussed about the regional and international developments but also a number of topics of common problems.
In this meeting there were many other people from the France such as Michele Alliot-Marie, Minister of Foreign Affairs and a number of superior French officials also present in the meeting.
Mohammed Mir Abdullah Al Reesi, the UAE Ambassador to France, and the French Ambassador to the UAE, Alain Azouaou were also present.
General Shaikh Mohammed worried the enthusiasm of the UAE, under the leadership of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, so as to enlarge bilateral cooperation. This was because it would bring UAE and France more closely.
It is not at all good news for the retailers just prior to the Christmas holidays, though Mr. Bagrie feels that it is going to be an advantage and benefit the economy in the longer run.
