The Abu Dhabi Municipality has given a deal worth Dh205 million to Baniyas Investment and Development Company (BID) and is going to be related to the oil business.
The contract is for setting up of an infrastructure for the Bawabat Al Sharq project and the same is going to be executed in three phases.
About the same, BID said in a statement, "Al Jaber Group will be responsible for executing all the infrastructure works of the project including road works, services, electrical network, water network, sewage network, drainage network, landscape and etcetera. Infrastructure works for Bawabat Al Sharq have already started and will be completed in June 2012."
Besides this, in an interview given to Gulf News, Nabeel Farhat, Partner with Al Fajer Securities kept his heart open and said that the deal is a sign that government is committed to developing world-class infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.
This is not going to give short-term gains like stimulating the recovery factors but also will help in forming long -term assets for the nation. He further added that Al Jaber Group is a leader in its field and that is why it was chose for the job.
The city in question- Baniyas City is spread in an area of 108 hectares and is a genius in the way that it is a mixture of old and the new form.
