Trial of National Guard member, that was supposed to take place on Monday has now been shifted till December 13. The guard was accused of crimes that he is said to have committed in UAE.
23 year old Nicholas Moody was laid over when he was returning from his trip to US from Iraq in UAE. Moody has been working with the Nevada Army National Guard in Iraq and Afghanistan and was working in Iraq and Afghanistan when he was working with a private security firm.
He was also charged with the possession of "accessories related to firearms" and was taken by the police and the Abu Chabi airport.
He is Yerington resident and in his defense statement has said that the objects he was carrying were not weapons but were related to his job. Moody has already served a period of two months in jail and was left on bail just last week.
As per UAE law, Moody is going to get either jail term or will have to pay a fine. Meanwhile, his family which is active on Internet has asked for support from media as he is a former soldier.
