A bus tour which gives free diagnosis tests for diabetes has been kick started in Festival City. They also distribute awareness brochures and provide free information.

The tour was inaugurated by Dr Hanif Hassan who is the UAE, Minister of Health; the occasion was also in the auspicious presence of Princess Benedict, sister of Queen of Denmark who is also the patron of the world diabetes tour.

The next destination of this bus tour will be Abu Dhabi in Dubai, where they will guide people to develop habits that help in preventing diabetes. The tour will be of great assistance to the people of Gulf countries where research has already proven that people are at a risk of getting diabetes.

Diabetes is basically a lifestyle disease which needs to be conveyed to the people. The UAE has taken this tour quite seriously and is taking stern steps to make this tour a success.
