A conference that is expected to see a huge turnout of people, Abu Dhabi will soon be hosting the first dedicated conference on food Security from December 14-16.
It is expected that the conference will address issues, concerns and challenges being faced in the wake of increasing demand for limited food resources.
Mohammad Jalal Al Reyaysa, chairman, SIAL Organising Committee and official spokesperson, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (Adfca) recently said that after the success of the SIAL Middle East, the capital will now be hosting a food safety conference which is expected to be first of its kind.
He also said that the conference will try to bring together participants from both the region and the world under the umbrella of Infosun.
The spokesperson added the fact that the main aim of the event is to look at the factor of availability, access and food safety issues which are being faced by many countries in the world today.
It is expected that the conference will look at possible solutions and will give a strategic direction to the issues that are currently being faced by the country.
