Abu Dhabi duo wins first legRashid al Tayer, the home favorite, and John Tomlinson of Team Abu Dhabi have recently done the local residents of the country proud by winning against the world champions Nader bin Hendi and Arifa al Zafeen yesterday.

It is to be mentioned here that the duo has bagged the first leg of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. At the end of the 100KM race, Team Abu Dhabi duo took the chequered flag by more than 37 seconds.

While the names who stood at the second spot were Mohammed al Marri of the UAE and Italy's Giorgio Manuzzi in Victory 2010, it may be noted here that the negotiator's Giovanni Carpitella and Class 1 rookie Luca Formilli Fendi were third.

There is no denying to the fact that Bin Hendi and al Zafeen, the Dubai-born drivers showed a lot of control on the race under control.
