Oriental Bank sets eyes on increasing abroad business

obc bank logoOn Friday Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) setting its eyes on growing business overseas it declared that in the next three months it is looking forward to launch its Dubai operations and was planning at opportunity another four branches in other countries.

During the conversation to newsmen now to launch the process of enrolment for the Unique Identification Authority of India's (UIDAI) `Aadhar' project, bank Chairman and Managing Director T. Y. Prabhu held that the bank is predictable to receive Reserve Bank of India's doze for setting up its first overseas branch in Dubai in the subsequently three months.

It is planned by the bank to set total of three branches in a foreign country in coming three-four years. It is because of the part of plans to get together the funding necessity of Indian companies working in overseas markets.

At the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) the first overseas branch is projected. He alleged that they have asked for support from RBI and they are waiting for the permission for the branch in DIFC. It is hoped that they would get the permission in the next three months and after that they would concern to DIFC.
