Balochistan Assembly, Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly has claimed that the Prime Minister’s Office has given away thousands of acres of land to the Prime Minister’s Office. And that they are now putting pressure of the provincial government to abide by the same.
He made the statement during a news conference that took place at the Quetta Press Club. This land, he said, is situated within his constituency in Lasbela District.
He also said that in a similar attempt close to 70,000 acres of land was taken away from them by the federal government. And in this the chief man behind the same was Chief Minister Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani.
In his statement, he claimed, “Once again, the federal government wants to allot the land to Arab Sheikhs belonging to the UAE. Ironically, a summary was prepared at the PM House overnight to give out the land on lease to Arab Sheikhs who occasionally visit the area for hunting. Now they want to set up their private buildings and an airport.”
During that time he could not do much since he was in India for his official visit.
