The highly anticipated PC game, Call of Duty: Black Ops has ended up leaving a few gamers with the best gaming rigs, a tad disappointed. Apparently, the game happens to underperform in a certain area, as a glitch happens to take away the sheen from the blockbuster series.
The fault in the game happens to freeze the screen or slow down game play on a number of occasions. Though, such an issue is passable, when there are a lot of opponents on the screen, however, the glitch actually happens in silent moments.
Many gamers have complained that the reason behind the slowdowns is because it overloads the power of the processor, as a lot of times the processor ends up using 100% of its resources. The Multiplayer Designer for the franchise, David Vonderharr, accepted the glitch on Twitter, though; Activision would probably announce a formal fault in the game today.
Apart from the criticism received regarding the glitch, the game has received positive reviews from most of the gaming sites, with IGN US rating the title a healthy 8.5/10 and also announcing that `the game was worth your time'. Eurogamer has labeled the game to be relentlessly aggressive and spectacular, while giving it an 8/10. Though, graphics of the game have yet again come under criticism for the freezes and slowdowns.
