Two of the events established to be lethal. Together the incidents happened in the tourist- severe French Quarter that normally witnesses just a handful of assassination ever year.

In the initial murder, an old regional Marine, 23-year- was mortally wounded in the early hours of Sunday on Dauphine Street trailing an argument with a man who had insulted the Marine's wife. Then, on the early hours of Monday, the police officers discovered a 37-year-old man, lifeless of a gunfire lesion, slouching on the edge of St. Louis and Burgundy streets. Police officer did a detention in that matter within 12 hours.

Police furnished little information on many of the happenings that took place on Monday. In many cases, clues for example a probable intention or have doubts about, were not at once unconfined.

The violence in the weekend, as per the police event registers, commenced on early hours of Saturday that the two pregnant women standing in the 8200 block of Chef Menteur Highway, within a trailer were injured in a squirt of firing of guns at 11 a. m.
