Despite having health insurance Californians pay for their treatment

Despite having health insurance Californians pay for their treatmentAlmost ten percent of the total Californian population continues to pay for their own medical treatment despite being enrolled with health insurance plans.

A report was released this week on Wednesday by the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research saying that almost 3 million Californians have taken low premium health plans. These figures were found by a research which was based on a health survey made in the year 2007.

These health insurances may cause risks to the financial status if at all hospitalization takes place. Health plans could need worth 5,000 dollars of deductibles as per a report.

The report also says that the regular health insurance plans that low-income families and self-employed people can easily afford are usually the ones which are high-deductible ones. Most people become hesitant to acquire medical care because of these reasons.

These days people depend on insurance plans, be it education plan, life plan or whatever plan there might be. Health insurance is one of the most acquired medical care plans which people take these days.
