AI advances date of allowance payment Diwali of this year might be fine for the employees and mostly its pilots of Air India-Indian Airlines combine.

On Friday the airline management sent a letter to employees, saying that their basic salary would be paid on November 1. But their performance-linked motivation and flying allowances would be delayed, which account for over
70-80% of a pilots’ total salary,

This caused chaos among employees. Immediately the Indian Commercial Pilots' Association wrote to airline CMD Arvind Jadhav, asking him why fresh appointments of COOs and other positions were being made with yearly salaries running in several lakhs and even crores. The pilots menaced to way out to "no pay, no work".

When Parliament would be in session from early November of this year at a time aviation minister Praful Patel is found out to have ordered the management to withdraw this order without any delay.

A representative of ministry said that on the 1st November the employees will be paid salary for October by AI and after three days they will be paid flying allowances and PLI.
