Bharat Forge net at Rs 61 crThe Auto components manufacturer, Bharat Forge, on Saturday, which is the subsidiary company of the Kalyani Group, recorded a net profit of Rs. 68.1 crore for the subsequent quarter closing September 30, 2010 as adjoining to Rs 26.8 crore for the similar period preceding year. This year there was a development of 154.10 per cent.

The Pune-based company’s net sales skipped 66.67 per cent to Rs 700 crore from Rs 420 crore throughout the corresponding period last financial year.

For the half year period ended September 30, 2010, its net profit ascends to Rs 127.5 crore as touching Rs 27.7 crore in the related period last year. Its income for the period stood at Rs 1348.7 crore as next to Rs 785.1 crore watched in the corresponding period last monetary.

The company held that exports for the quarter recorded remarkable growth of 86.5 per cent and 20.2 per cent on an annual and in order basis respectively. The growth in exports has been viewed across geographies and segments.

The non-automotive business continued to witness strong grip from both domestic and export markets with incline up of production of new programs.
