India, Japan discuss ways to conclude FTA soon

FTAIndia and Japan has discussed several ways so that the bilateral free trade pact can be started soon. The delegates and senior officials from both the nations had a meeting over such trade and positive results are expected to come out from this dialogue. The main focus of this talk was to liberalize commerce in between these nations.

In the meeting, officials from both the countries had discussed various aspects of this deal and also laid the groundwork for the commencement of this free trade agreement.

After the commencement of such trade practice both the countries will be allowed to trade in each-others market with their commodities. It will provide both of them a bigger market of prospective customers.

Japan is very much excited to enter into the second-most populous market of the world, i.e. India with its huge verity of goods and services. However, both the countries, India and Japan were engaged in Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) negotiations. This deal was signed in the month of January, 2007.
