Android tablets seem to be flooding in the market, and the latest to join the buzz is Hannspree who is releasing the latest tablet against many of its rivals. The unnamed device apparently is powered by the Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, a dual core ARM model based on the Cortex A9 and clocked at 1GHz that boasted of a 512MB DDR2 memory.
Sources claim that a 16GB onboard memory is tagged along that comes with an option to add another 32GB via the microSD card slot. Other features of the device comprise of a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen featuring a display of 1024x600 pixels, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB and HDMI ports, a 3500 mAh battery which offers a back-up of at least eight hours.
The device offers full HD option in addition to Flash and the onboard hardware acceleration is pumped up by Nvidia's GPU. The device is priced at £330, and is featured along with Android 2.2 Froyo, not Eclair, and merely weighs 790 grams and the dimensions of the same are less than 13.9mm thick. The company is yet to come firm the news of the availability of the device, but soon will be releasing its models nearing Christmas.
