The Deputy Prime Minister of UK, Nick Clegg has defended the budget analysis of the coalition government. He has also slammed the report of Institute of Financial Studies (IFS) on Budget which has said that the budget of coalition government has hit the poorest families of UK hugely.
He has said that the statement was partially correct but the budget of the coalition government was made according to the financial condition of the country.
During his visit to the headquarters of the Disasters Emergency Committee in London he has said that the government did not want to take out the benefits of the people rather it wanted to stable the economy of the country.
On the other hand, IFS has criticized the budget saying it a regressive one. According to the analysts, the lower income families are losing almost 5% of their income after the new budget as benefit cuts were implemented in the budget.
Most of the economic experts and analysts of the country are in support of the IFS and creating problems for the coalition government.
