SAP and Sybase have pronounced the release of Sybase technology in association with SAP enterprise offerings, soon after the firm’s merger. The firm will focus on offering one of the best mobile database management functions, which will aid users to access and manage firm’s databases being released from the smartphone devices.

SAP is relying on Sybase's expertise in mobility solutions and also gives due credit to the shift-in trend in the enterprise IT market to reserve space in an enterprise based mobile market. The Sybase Unwired Platform is developed to cater to access a firm’s data that has been released from a smartphone device when one if off from the office. The platform also aids in altering information stored in database.

Senior vice president of markets and products at Sybase, Gary Kovacs, said, “Sybase offers the most comprehensive expertise and platform for mobilising SAP solutions, as well as for rapid development and deployment of custom mobile offerings in the industry.”
