Accenture denies British Gas billing system claims

Accenture denies British Gas billing system claimsAccenture has denied of accepting any claims stated by British Gas that its billing systems offers "millions of errors" and states to be "inaccurate". Accenture has claimed that the accusations made by British Gas supposedly are totally immaterial and erroneous, the Register reported.

A representative from Accenture stated:"The lawsuit does address ‘exceptions’ which were designed to identify bills that required a human to review or approve them, but these are not errors. Accenture is confident that Centrica’s claim is baseless."

Centrica based British Gas filed a lawsuit that was claimed against the consultancy provider that demands a multi-million pound compensation payment meant for damages in the billing system that occurred with the firm and its clients.

Accenture answering the queries rebuffed those allegations claiming that the SAP-based billing system was plugged in 2005 with respect to the guidelines and requirements which have been scheduled within a set time and budget.

The firm has stated that Centrica has employed the system for close to two years before filing for a petition that is operational till date.
