Search giant Google has claimed of not using drones to launch the detailed snaps for its Street view and maps online services.
It has been stated as a matter of fact that by a Google executive that one who is keenly interested in robots has bought a drone which is enough to fuel rumor mills.
It is said to be a publicity gimmick where the proprietor of the firm who traded the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to Google added to the ongoing publicity by stating that drones were;"well suited to deliver up to date image material for Google Maps".
This can easily be rubbished to the fact stating Google to be silly enough to have such a plaintiff idea, it is akin to the past view that Google might be deploying balloons for the similar purpose, which later turned out to be false and only a rumor.
The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed to PC Pro that Google might come up with the permission from UK aviation body in order to seek any type of unmanned drones in the country's airspace.
