AB InBev Quarterly Profit Rises

AB-InBevThe world's largest brewer Anheuser-Busch InBev NV has informed that it has posted a reasonable hike in its net profit figure for the second-quarter of the current financial year.

According to a statement released by the company, it has managed to post a net profit rise of 7.3% in the reviewed quarter against its corresponding quarter in the preceding fiscal year.

As per the company officials, the beer consumption was reasonably huge during the FIFA world cup. The sales figure of the company in Latin America has helped it to post a net rise and compensate the decline in sales in other part of US.

Company's net income has rose to $1.15 billion in Q2 of the year. For the same period of time in last year, the net income was reported to be $1.07 billion.  

Company's chief financial officer, Felipe Dutra has informed that the sales in North America has been quite impressive in this quarter under review and theses figure are just the sign of improvement for the company. The firm has produced a superior performance in Q2 against its preceding quarter as well.
