Kaspersky launches two new 2011 security products in India

KasperskySecurity firm, Kaspersky Labs has announced the launch of two new security products, Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 suite for the PCs users in the Indian market.

The security solutions, to protect PC from the ever growing threat from malware, includes a System Watcher technology which monitors changes to the files and registry in the PC to detect threats and secure systems. Both the products are compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

The Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 has real-time PC protection along with a user friendly desktop tool. The user can create a rescue CD if the system is infected and then removes the malware. This is to allow users to install Anti Virus even in systems that have malware that sometimes restrict new installations. The software blocks all suspicious programmes after analyzing it.

The Kaspersky Internet-Security 2011 solution suite aims at users who seek protection from internet based attacks. The New Safe Surf feature allows only safe websites and blocks away sites laden with malware. The product analyses every system event to detect suspicious programmes. It comes with a desktop tool along with a PC protection status.

The Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2011 is priced at Rs. 599 while the Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 comes with a price tag of Rs. 899.
