Motorola launches five new affordable phones in India

motorolaHandset maker, Motorola has announced the launch of five new entry level affordable phones under its ‘Motoyuva' range in the Indian market.

The move is aimed at consolidating its position in the entry level market. The devices are priced in the range of Rs. 1,490 and Rs. 2,890 and will be available across the country with various user friendly features.

The company launched WX181, WX260, WX265, WX290 and the WX295 in the series and all the handset offer almost identical features with minor changes.  

The most basic WX181 comes with a 1.5-inch color display with a resolution of 128×128 and offers FM radio and a mini USB port. The WX260 comes with 1.8-inch, 128×160 pixels display and has GPRS Class 10, MicroSD cards,
750 mAh Lithium battery, FM radio with extended standby time.

The next in line WX265 has similar features to WX260. It has MicroSD of up to 2GB and Bluetooth along with most basic features offered by other phones in the series. The WX290 features a VGA camera, 65k TFT screen. The
WX295 has similar features to WX290.
