Scientists in the University of New South Wales have revealed that exercise helps a person in forgetting the bad experiences of the past. The scientists have associated psychological disturbance and the exercise indirectly.
The daily exercise by a person is very efficient to reduce his mental stress and situations of anxiety; this includes the bad experience in the early life, as well.
The study published in the Journal Psychoneuroendocrinology, has suggested that exercise helps in altering the stress hormones into the feel good hormones.
Out of all the exercises, tough physical exercises are more effective in the release of negative feelings. These negative feelings can be those, which tend to ruin the present of a person, if they are not carefully dealt with.
Exercise reduces the release of stress hormones such as cortisol.
"What's exciting about this is that we are able to reverse a behavioral deficit, that was caused by a traumatic event early in life, simply through exercise", said Margaret Morris. She is a Pharmacology Professor in New South Wales.
Scientists in New South Wales have also found that palatable food, which is rich in fat and sugar is also very effective in reducing the mental anxiety.
Experts also believe that may be exercise is effective to reduce the depression and stress level because it diverts the mind of a person.
