Handset maker, Lava International Limited has announced the launch of its two new mobile phone models, B2 and B5 which comes with its Alpha keypad to the Indian market.
The models for the first time will bring to the customers the Alpha keypad instead of the usual QWERTY key pad. The keys in the Alpha keypad are arranged in the ABCD alphabetical order.
The company is the first handset maker to offer such a key pad on its device for easier typing. The B5 model has a 2.2'inch QVGA screen along with a 2MP camera. Among multimedia features,
it offers an MP4 music player, support for video, video player in different formats, FM radio, SMS, MMS, emailing and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The B5 also supports Bluetooth connectivity and USB port as well as expandable memory of 8 GB and Micro SD card. The users can save up to 1000 contacts with backup and the device supports two SIMs. The 1400mAh battery of the device offers a long talktime and standby time. The B2 model is priced at Rs. 4,399 in the Indian market.
