President Asif Ali Zardari invited the Abu Dhabi Fund to invest in oil and gas, power generation, and infrastructure development. He also mentioned of the incentives announced by the Government of Pakistan to encourage investments.

The bilateral relations between the UAE and Pakistan were discussed along with the cooperation between the Pakistani government and the Abu Dhabi Fund regarding the financing of the development projects in Pakistan.

The President said that Pakistan greatly honors its relationship with UAE and wants to further strengthen the bilateral ties in all fields.

He also appreciated the support and assistance given by the government of UAE government for the relief and rehabilitation of the displaced people.

The DG UAE Fund mentioned that development projects in Pakistan are being financed by them and the President was assured of their cooperation and the investments in Pakistan.

The meeting was also attended by Governor Baluchistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi, Secretary General to the President M. Salman Faruqui and Maj General Faris Al- Mazrooi.
