Health alert as temperatures head towards 90FThe Met Office had issued warning to the aged and the parents having small children to be careful and keep them as cool as possible because the temperature is rising alarmingly in East England and South East of the country

According to the Met Office temperatures will rise across East Anglia during Friday and Saturday, and can reach as high as 31degree Celsius while nocturnal minimum temperatures in central London won’t fall below 20 C.

The scorching night temperature is around 64 degrees Fahrenheit /18degrees Celsius which is the mounting concerns of the health experts, as it can cause trouble to vulnerable and sick people.

According to the forecasters the country can experience its hottest temperature of the year brought in by a heat wave which can see the mercury rising up to 90 degree Fahrenheit.

This temperature can well surpass the earlier high of 87.6 degree F recorded on the 27th of June this year.

People have been asked to sport loose cotton garments to keep them cool and been asked to splash cold waters on their faces and back of their necks

The NHS had suggested people to stay in the coolest room of their house and to keep the windows close when the temperature outside is scalding.

According to Wayne Elliott an official in the Met Office the night time temperatures are posing more threat and are of genuine concerns though daytime temperature can reach the threshold point.

People already having health problems can face real trouble due to the humidity and the lack of breeze.

This warning is for east of England, London and the South East part of the country. The northern parts of the country will remain cloudy and can even experience rainfall

The warning only covers the East of England, South East England and London. In more northern parts of Britain cloudy conditions and rain are forecast.

According to the Met Office England had seen the driest first six months in this years after almost 80 years though it had experienced the coldest winter this years amongst three decades
