Belfast Health and Social Care Trust is set to launch a four-month consultation in regards to the future of acute services.
The schemes aim at making it easier for patients to get access services, for example, general surgery, vascular surgery, and ENT all across the city.
They as well set out a plan, which will end replication of services on diverse sites and develop centers of excellence in each of the Trust's hospitals, Belfast City, the Mater, the Royal, and Musgrave Park.
Chief Executive, William McKee said that the group intends to make sure that people get the best treatment probable, by the right individual, in the right place, and also at the accurate time.
And to achieve this target, it aims to offer support to clinical staff, so that it can achieve the objective to be in the top 25% of UK hospitals for excellence in service provision and performance.
