Dubai sees opening of New Luxury apartments

This year, travelers who have planned a lavish break in Dubai, will get a chance to stay in a new property recently opened by InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

By inaugurating the InterContinental Residence Suites at Dubai Festival City, IHG - which claims to be the largest hotel operator in the Middle East - has expanded its offering in the United Arab Emirates.

The new property comprises 212 studio apartments as well as one, two and three-bedroom suites and a luxury penthouse, specifically intended to serve for guests spending a total amount of time in the city.

Every room would give modern comforts, such as high-speed internet access, 37-inch plasma screen televisions and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Tom Lord, manager of the InterContinental Residence Suites said: "We have a truly international team with both local and international knowledge giving us a fantastic opportunity to provide a very personalized service to all of our guests."

He further said: "Making the property available for bookings from July has re-confirmed the enormous demand for this type of up market, extended residential accommodation as the market in Dubai continues to mature and diversify."

In the previous month, IHG announced that it was bringing the global prelaunch of one of its best-known brands, Holiday Inn, to Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.
