Kellogg Announces Recall of Children’s Cereal BoxesIt has been reported that the U.S. leading cereal maker for children, Kellogg has declared to recall the packages and containers of its cereals. The Company observed unusual odor from the packets. Moreover, the taste of these cereals is different and not good.

Thus, boxes containing Froot Loops, Apple Jacks and Corns have been recalled, as the people after consuming them are complaining of suffering from diarrhea.

A Company Spokeswoman also said, “We have identified a substance in the package liner that can produce an uncharacteristic wax-like off taste and smell”.

The Company’s research and health team are looking out for the substance and will soon give the results.

One month ago, Kellogg was also, accused by the FDA, when Listeria was found in the Buttermilk waffles produced by the Company.

Apart from that, during the month of January, FDA also warned the Company to improve hygiene and cleanliness in its plants.

Due to the accusations of producing unhealthy food, the Company is receiving a lot of criticism from the public, in general. As a result, their earnings have decreased.

The NY Stock Exchange recorded a fall in 1.5% in the shares of the Company, yesterday.
