The Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED) has announced that it has introduced two new eServices on its website, www.dubaided.gov.ae – to reserve and renew trade names. 
 
The sources said that the initiative is aimed at increasing efficiency of operation, enhancing productivity and ensuring added-value service to clients.
 
The sources further added that DED is implementing the eStrategy in order to enhance and expand its online services according to best practices and customer feedback.

The eServices provided by DED entail transaction status whereby customers can check the status of the transaction by using a transaction number, licence number or initial approval number. Search trade names allows users to reserve trade names or find out if the desired name is already taken.
