Abu Dhabi emphasizes on quality of Meat Products

Abu-Dhabi-Food-Control-AuthorityAbu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has announced to take measures for ensuring better quality of meat products at various meat shops in the region. A new mechanism for quality control will soon be introduced for carrying out opinion poll of customers to ascertain the quality of services being offered at various meat shops.

Dr Abdul Latif Al Thao, Head of Food Inspection Section at Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) added, "ADFCA intends to further tighten the noose on its preservation and transportation mechanism so that its safety could be sustained."

UAE citizens are very fond of all types of meat dishes especially of Australian meat. Information in this regard was released few days back by ADFCA at the two-day Third Annual Meat Inspection and Food Safety Seminar jointly arranged by ADFCA and Meat and Livestock Australia.

Ahmed Kulaib, Executive Manager at the food safety and animal health section of the ADFCA asked for international co-operation for better transportation of meat for its easy preservation.

Al Thao hailed the cooperation with the Meat and Livestock Australia and hoped that it will train students about latest techniques for preserving food stuffs.
