Indian commits unsuccessful suicide attempt in Dubai court

Dubai-CourtVisibly upset over delay in his case involving human trafficking, an Indian man tried to pressurize the court by strangling himself with a scarf in the court. The court adjourned his case till April 12 and the announcement did not go down well with the 40 year old Indian K K.

He uttered some words in Hindi in the Dubai Court of First Instance after taking the step. KK reportedly whispered, "Today, there is no judgment then better I kill myself."

The court of the Presiding Judge Hamad Abdul Latif Abdul Jawad adjourned the case as four witness failed to appear in the court yesterday.

Meanwhile, two jail guards took the scarf and sent KK in prison. This case of failed suicide attempt indicates growing desperation in people due to delay in the justice delivery.
